PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system and a print control method in which a print format can be set easily for each destination of print data. SOLUTION: The print format storing means 122 in a server unit 120 stores a plurality of print formats required for printing print data by means of a printer. When a user prints print data, the print format selecting means 112 in a client unit 100 selects any one of the plurality of print formats stored in the print format storing means 122. The print designating means 113 in the client unit 100 designates the printer to print print data based on a print format selected by the print format selecting means 112.
