PURPOSE:To artificially control environmental conditions and to stably produce plants intentionally, by equipping a first and a second culture chambers vertically piled, a water culture equipment chamber and an air passageway and circulating air in a specific state. CONSTITUTION:In order to uniformly control temperature and temperature distribution in a plant culture device, heat exchangers 15, humidifiers 16, dehumidifiers 17 and heaters are arranged dividedly in three to five devices, respectively, depending upon power volume and size of equipment. A water culture solution having adjusted concentration, pH, solution temperature, etc., is supplied from a water culture tank 19 laid at the lower part of a culture chamber 3 at the lower stage by a pump 20 through a culture solution pipe 21 to culture beds 12 placed on the upper and lower stages and the overflown water culture solution passing over a partition plate for water level adjustment is returned to the water culture tank 19. In the operation, a culture panel 13 of white foamed polystyrene on which plants 8 are planted is floated on the water culture solution of the culture beds 12 and plants 8 are subjected to water culture in a continuously immersed state of roots in the water culture solution. |
