PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a tilt cylinder allowing a smooth forward tilting operation by preventing a hunting phenomenon of an operate check valve. SOLUTION: A first actuator port A is connected with a pressure chamber C1 on which counter load acts of pressure chambers of a double acting cylinder C. A second actuator port B is connected with the other pressure chamber C2 of the cylinder C. A push rod 17 for opening an operation check valve V2 by pressing a poppet 5 of the valve V2, a piston 16 applied with pressing force, a restriction 20 formed between the second actuator port B and a high pressure passage are disposed. Upstream side pressure of the restriction 20 acts on the piston 16 at a spool switching position for connecting the second actuator port B with the high pressure passage.
