PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device allowing reduction of a failure caused by a temperature drop in a power-assisting capacity. SOLUTION: In this steering device, when a temperature detected by a temperature sensor 22 for detecting temperature in a range wherein the capacity 18 and the temperature are correlated is not more than a set temperature, a control part 23 executes control (minute current carrying control) to forcibly carry such a minute current that the motor 11 is not driven to the motor 11, or executes control (current restriction control) to restrict a current supplied to the motor 11 compared to a normal state. |
