PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin cap which can demonstrate excellent tamper evidence, and its closing device. SOLUTION: A cap body 4 comprises a top plate 2 and a cylindrical portion 3 suspended from a circumferential edge thereof, the cylindrical portion 3 is demarcated into a main portion 8 above a horizontal score 6 and a tamper evidence ring portion 9 therebelow by the horizontal score 6, a threaded portion 10 to be screwed with a male screw 22 of a container mouth 21a is formed on an inner wall surface of the main portion 8, a large number of uneven tabs 11 protruded in a plate-like manner are provided on the inner wall surface of the tamper evidence ring portion 9 along the circumferential direction, and a recess 13 of arc-shaped section along the outer circumferential shape of the container mouth 21a is formed on the inner circumferential side of the tabs 11.
