METHOD FOR DETECTING VIROID AND CAPTURE PROBE USED FOR DETECTION OF VIROID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting viroid, capable of stably detecting viroid in a high sensitivity by a simple operation without spending time and effort and provide capture probe used for detection of viroid. SOLUTION: This method for detecting viroid comprises a step for extracting RNA from a plant which becomes a specimen, a step for recovering only viroid RNA from the extracted RNA by using capture probe with a base sequence having complementarity with base sequence site which is common to well-known plural viroid RNAs and a step for amplifying gene by gene amplification method after reversely transferring the recovered viroid RNA to cDNA.
