PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an amount of outward protrusion of the side of a cylinder head when fixing a pressing member to press the fuel injection valve of a direct injection type engine onto the cylinder head to the cylinder head. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 60 is fixed to a cylinder head 12 in a pressed state by making the engagement part 91 of a pressing member 90 engaged with the fuel injection valve 60 and fixing a fixed part 93 to the cylinder head 12 by a bolt 92. The engagement part 91 of the pressing member 90 and the fixed part 93 are disposed in a row along the side part of the cylinder head 12. Since the bolt 92 penetrating through the fixed part 93 and breaking into the cylinder head 12 is not positioned toward the side of the cylinder head 12, an amount of protrusion of the side of the cylinder head 12 can be suppressed.
