PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-dispersed liquid using a dispersant wherewith a micro particle pigment-dispersed liquid suitable for use as an ink-jet ink for recording is prepared efficiently in a short time, with change reduced in the pigment particle diameter during storage, and an ink-jet ink using the same. SOLUTION: The pigment-dispersed liquid is prepared using a dispersant which is described by Formula (I) and Formula (II) or is another like compound (wherein R1: a group selected from the group consisting of alkyl groups, allyl groups, and aralkyl groups, each having 1-20 carbons; l: an integer 0-7; m: an integer of 30-60 ; R2: a 8-14C alkyl group OA: oxylene units or a mixture of oxylene units and oxypropylene units; and n: an integer of 3-16). |
