PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal fittings for installing an acoustical panel having an improved oblique incident sound absorption coefficient onto the wall surface of a structure and the mounting structure of the acoustical panel using the metal fittings. SOLUTION: Side wall sections 83 are projected forward from both left and right sides of a bottom section 8, to which a fixing section 81 is formed, front wall sections 84 are faced mutually and projected inwards respectively from the upper sections of the left-right side wall sections 83, a box structure in which a front is opened is formed, and the panels are installed onto the wall surface 71 of the structure 7 by the fixing sections 81 while the metal fittings 8 supporting the end sections of the acoustical panels A by both left-right sides of the bottom section 82 are used. Since the metal fittings 8 are formed in the box structure in which the front is opened 85, the greater part of incident noises from the oblique direction are impinged on the box from the opening 85 when noises reach the metal fittings 8, and are attenuated by repeating irregular reflections in the box, and the oblique incident sound absorption coefficient is improved.
