PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems of troublesome operation for pushing a plate cylinder setting and removing key or the like and wasting of the time for the operation when a plate cylinder to be mounted is mounted on a device main body of a multiple-cylinder printer. SOLUTION: A main motor 81 is so controlled by a controller 200 as to set a sitting and removing operation driving section 95a or a setting and removing operation driving section 95b occupying a setting and removing corresponding position based on a closing signal from a door opening and closing section 54 or a no plate cylinder signal from a sensor 77 for sensing whether a first plate cylinder is mounted or not or from a sensor 78 for sensing whether a second plate cylinder is mounted or not, and the main motor 81 is so controlled as to stop the setting and removing section 95a or the setting and removing section 95b on a setting and removing position based on a setting and removing position signal from a setting and removing position sensor 104a or a setting and removing corresponding position sensor 104b.
