PURPOSE: A locking device for a cable connector of a telecommunication equipment is provided to rapidly and securely lock and easily release the cable connector of the telecommunication equipment with a simple operation. CONSTITUTION: A locking device for a cable connector comprises a contact member(20) formed in a plug body(10). The contact member(20) has a head section(21) and a pin hole(22) for receiving a terminal. A guider having a guiding slot is installed at a rear portion of the contact member(20). A locker(40) is coupled to a periphery of the guider. The locker(40) slides in a predetermined range while being supported by a spring. A coupling member(60) has a collet(61) installed at a center of a jack(50). A lead end of the collet(61) is divided into several parts such that the head section(21) of the contact member(20) can be coupled thereto. A housing(70) is installed at an outer portion of the collet(61).
