PURPOSE: A method of transmitting an object program using a remote controller is provided to help a user use home appliances more conveniently by selecting a service through computer and Internet, converting the program into object program and transmitting it to the remote controller so that the remote controller receiving the object program generates a subsequent operational signal for the appliance for its operation. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller(1) capable of controlling electronic appliances receives an operational signal standard including the contents of the operational signals for controlling the appliance, reservation recording, and other service information such as cooking program are sent by Internet and computer(14). The computer(14) converts them into object program through a transmission program(11) and transmitting them to the remote controller. The remote controller receiving the object program through a receiver, stores it in a memory. The remote controller transmits the object program for controlling the appliance by using a display, buttons or a processor to the appliance to thereby control the appliance according to the operational signal standard and service information.
