PURPOSE: A detecting device of a fixed position of a processed material for a progressive die is provided to simply fix a sensor in a designated position and to have the excellent detecting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: Many die holes are formed in a lower die(10) to fix a pilot pin. A supporting pipe(12) having a spiral is forcibly inserted in one among the die holes except the first die hole. A fixing pin(16) to be vertically installed a sensor(14) is combined with the supporting pipe(12). Thereby, an installation is performed simply and quickly. Moreover, a detection is performed exactly by preventing a miss-operation.
