PURPOSE: A lubricating structure of a timing chain apparatus is provided to improve lubrication by directly supplying oil to a contact part of a chain sprocket and a chain, thereby improving anti-abrasion and reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: In a timing chain apparatus including a chain(4) and a chain sprocket(1) transmitting rotary force of a crank shaft to a cam shaft, a lubricating structure of the timing chain apparatus includes an oil storage cavity(5) formed within a body of the chain sprocket, and oil supply holes(6) radially formed to supply oil of the oil storage cavity to the engaged chain, wherein the oil storage cavity is communicated with an oil supply passage formed at the center part of the cam shaft for lubricating the cam shaft, and receives oil supplied via the cam shaft. |
