PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectifying circuit device for one or a plurality of AC voltages which can surely protect the connection under the erroneous polarity. SOLUTION: A controllable rectifier element is at least one thyristor. The gate terminal of the thyristor is connected, to prevent the connection of external voltage source or circuit network in erroneous polarity, to the positive output side of a rectifier element provided with a diode function unit or to the control device. The potential of each gate terminal is controlled in the preset control system with this control device. The AC voltage potential of one or a plurality of AC voltages to be rectified are supplied to each connecting point of the rectifier elements connected in series in the same direction.
