PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem in a conventional multi-directional input device that the holding state of an energizing member 7 in an operating member 6 is unstable and the integrating operation of the exciting member 7 and the operating member 6 into an operation shaft 4 is difficult because the member 7 is engaged with a projection part 6g slightly projected from the upper end part of the member 6 and stored in a storage part 4d of the shaft 4. SOLUTION: In the multi-directional input device, a receiving part 26g consisting of a recessed part is formed between a projected line part 26d and a boss part 26b on the upper end part of the projected line part 26d of an operating member 26 so as to hook an energizing member 27 on the receiving part 26g. Consequently, the multi-directional input device capable of surely and effectively holding the member 27 on the member 26 as compared with the conventional device and easily executing the integrating operation of both the members 27, 26 and having high productivity can be provided.
