PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can washing device which can smoothly and surely wash cans in such a manner that the residual amount of foreign matter and the residual volume of water of specified values or below may be attained even in one layer of high-speed transportation with a packing system for the cans. SOLUTION: This can washing device is constituted by successively disposing an air rinsing unit 2, a watering unit 3 and a draining unit 4 toward below from above along an inclined chute 1. The chute 1 comprises a plurality of bars 7 disposed along both side parts 51, bottoms 52 and apertures 53 of the cans 50. The air rinsing unit 2 and the watering unit 3 have first nozzles 10 for injecting fluid toward the bottoms 52 of the cans 50 and second nozzles 11 for injecting the fluid to the side parts 51 toward the transfer direction of the cans. The air rinsing unit 2 has air nozzles 14 for injecting gas toward the inside from the apertures 53 of the cans and the watering unit 3 has washing nozzles 15 for injecting the washing liquid toward the inside from the apertures 53 of the cans.
