GAS HYDRATE GENERATION CONTROLLER AND PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING GAS HYDRATE GENERATION USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas hydrate generation controller which possesses both an inhibitory action against gas hydrate generation and an stabilizing action for gas hydrates and also exerts an anticorrosive effect in a gas hydrate- generating environment, and a process for controlling gas hydrate generation. SOLUTION: The gas hydrate generation controller contains polyaspartic acids as effective components. Here, the polyaspartic acids are obtained by hydrolyzing polysuccinimide which is obtained by polycondensing aspartic acid in the presence of 2 to 5 mol phosphoric acids per 1 mol aspartic acid under a condition wherein the temperature is 120 to 170 deg.C and the pressure is 1.33 to 1.33×104 Pa.
