PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium which can write in easily image information of high uniformity, the high resolution, the high contrast, the high gradation characteristic, and high reliability with a small write-in device at high speed when writing reversibly the image information in the display medium which can be used like the paper bendablely thinly, and can be rewritten the image information reversibly with the write-in device separable from this medium. SOLUTION: In the display medium which has a surface-like portion which has a display part capable of the visual recognition state changing by applying the voltage or the electric current, at least a portion of the member which forms the top of at least one side of the display part is the portion which consists of the material large in the electric conductivity rather than at least one member disposed on the lower part and the circumscription, and the portion which consists of the material large in this electric conductivity is the driving means in which the voltage or the electric current is applied, and the separable display medium.
