PURPOSE: A mouse motion counter is provided to remove a noise generated in a signal generation by synchronizing a detecting signal to a system clock and to count data corresponded to a moving distance of a mouse. CONSTITUTION: An input signal processing unit(100) synchronizes an input signal into a predetermined frequency and outputs a status signal thereof by comparing the synchronizing signal. A 5-bit adder(200) adds the status signal of the input signal processing unit(100). A register(400) stores the adding value of the 5-bit adder(200). A DPC(dot per count) control unit(500) reads data of the register(400) and converts the data into proper data in accordance with DPC and outputs the data. A 8-bit adder and register(600) adds and stores the data outputted from the DPC control unit(500). A reset unit(300) performs a self-reset of the register(400). A scaler(700) receives the data from the 8-bit adder and register(600) and counts the data. |
