PURPOSE: A fixing device of a strainer in a double tub typed washing machine is provided to improve the assembling property by easily installing the strainer and to reduce a manufacturing cost by reducing a number of components. CONSTITUTION: A combining boss(63) is protruded inside a drain port(60). A combining slot(53) is installed in a strainer(50) to be directly connected with the combining boss(63). A hanging sill(63a) is protruded in the combining boss(63). The combining slot(53) is formed by an oblique plane(53a) to be geared with the hanging sill(63a). In finishing a washing and a rinsing processes, a draining process is operated. A drain valve device(61) is opened by controlling a control knob for draining. Washing water of a washing tub(11) is discharged through the drain port(60) and a drain hose(40). The laundry and foreign substances are not discharged through the drain port(60) because the washing water is discharged into the drain port(60) through a drain hole(51) of the strainer(50). Thereby, a clog of the drain port(60) is prevented. |
