DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING ROLL IN ROLL POLISHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A supporting device for a roll in a roll polishing machine is provided to improve precision in the roll through firmly fixing a roll journal by using weight of the roll for improving quality of a coil. CONSTITUTION: A lower metal support unit(100) contains a hydraulic cylinder(10) operated by an established pressure of a hydraulic apparatus(12) in installing and uninstalling a roll(1) on a roll polishing machine(50). Herein, a lower metal supporter(9) is installed for being elevated by weight of the roll and hydraulic pressure. The lower metal supporter contains a lower metal connected with the hydraulic cylinder for being contacted with a journal(1A) of the roll. An upper metal support unit(200) is integrally operated with the lower metal support unit for supporting the journal. An upper metal(4) is combined to an upper metal supporter(5) for being rotated with a bracket(6). A rotation cam(7) is installed at a lower portion of the upper metal supporter for being attached with the lower metal supporter. A spring(30) is connected to one side of the upper metal supporter for widening or narrowing upper metals according to installation of the roll.
