PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out attaching of terminal plates easily, to improve productivity, and to prevent deterioration to the connected part of lead wires and generation of disconnection. SOLUTION: The battery comprises a bottomed cylindrical battery case with an opening in one direction, spiral electrode 3 made by winding a layered product with a separator 3c between positive/negative electrode plates 3 stored in the case, a terminal plate 6 connected by way of a lead wire 4 to the positive electrode plate 3a of the electrode 3 for sealing the opening of the battery case 2, and an insulator 5 disposed between the terminal plate 6 and the electrode 3 for the lead wire 4 to be inserted into. The insulator 5 comprises a first insulator 8 in pressure contact to the bottom of the battery case 2 and a second insulator 9 to press the bending part of the lead wire 4 penetrating the first insulator 8 on the electrode which are integrally formed with each other. |
