PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a container, for the collection of stool, in which the suspension of the stool can be collected simply and surely regarding the container for the collection of the stool used to inspect occult blood. SOLUTION: In the container for the collection of the stool, the stool is bored and pierced so as to be sampled by a suction nozzle without opening and closing a lid from the upper part of a stool-collecting container body. The upper part of the stool-collecting container body has a part which is so strong as to be broken through by the suction nozzle of an autoanalyzer, and a sample is sucked.
