PURPOSE: A cell transmitting method and apparatus in a cell unit communication system are provided to prevent a cell data loss by preventing a collision of writing and reading address to and from a DPRAM by delaying a recording address at a time when data writing and reading operations are simultaneously performed for the same address, and applying it to the DPRAM. CONSTITUTION: A data writing unit(11) outputs an applied data to a DPRAM(12), outputs a writing control information to a writing address/control signal generator(14), and outputs a writing address to a delay selector(16). The delay selector(16) determines whether a delay mode is to be set according to the writing address, a reading address and an applied check clock and applies a delay signal to the writing address/control signal generator(14). The writing address/control signal generator(14) receives writing control information from the data writing unit(11), generates a writing clock, a writing enable signal and a writing address and applies them to the DPRAM(12), so as to control the data writing operation of the DPRAM(12), and delays the delay signal and the writing address and applies them to the DPRAM(12). A data reading unit(13) reads the data received from the DPRAM(12), outputs reading control information to a reading address/control signal generator(15), and applies the reading address to the delay selector(16). The DPRAM(12) stores the data received from the data writing unit(11) according to the recording clock, the recording enable signal and the recording address applied from the recording address/control signal generator(14), and outputs the stored data according to the reading clock, the reading enable signal, and the reading address received from the reading address/control signal generator(15). |
