PURPOSE: A radio/cable combined HD receiver is provided to receive a radio broadcasting signal and contents of EPG(Electric Program Guide) within a short time by updating other radio broadcasting signals when receiving the radio broadcasting signal. CONSTITUTION: A radio and cable broadcasting data bit stream recovery portion(20) recovers a data bit stream of a radio and a cable broadcasting signal. A radio broadcasting data bit stream recovery portion(27) recovers a data bit stream of a radio broadcasting signal. A switching portion(35) selects outputs of the radio and cable broadcasting data bit stream recovery portion(20) and the radio broadcasting data bit stream recovery portion(27). A CPU(36) controls the radio broadcasting data bit stream recovery portion(27) and the switching portion(35). A memory(37) stores data for forming EPG data base. An image and sound recovery portion(32) recovers a selected broadcasting program and a data bit stream of additional information to an image and a sound.
