GATE VALVE MOUNTING METHOD FOR FLUID TRANSPORTATION PIPE AND GATE VALVE MOUNTING DEVICE USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a construction period and accelerate the reduction of labor and construction equipment for achieving a lower construction cost by reasonably parting a drilling relation for mounting a gate valve body on a fluid transportation pipe from a valve mounting relation by function for efficient operation. SOLUTION: A drilling work case 3 provided with a drilling device A and a valve case 5 provided with the gate valve body 2 and valve operating means 4 are mounted on the fluid transportation pipe P so as to be sealed and slid in the direction of a pipe axis X. After drilling work with the drilling device A, the drilling work case 3 and the valve case 5 are slid along the direction of the pipe axis X to the position of mounting the valve body, where the gate valve body is insertable from outward in the direction of a pipe diameter into a valve insertion port formed in a pipe wall, and then the valve case 5 is fixed to the fluid transportation pipe P in mounting attitude as predetermined.
