<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's convenience concerned with the battery drive of a portable information equipment. SOLUTION: In the portable information equipment 1 having a user information management means 5 for recording/managing user schedule information, a power control device 4 for controlling power to be supplied from a chargeable power supply battery 3 to a system and device 2 is provided with a schedule extraction processing part 7, a power supply information extraction means 8, a power state determination processing part 6, and a power state changing means 9. The processing part 7 extracts an application schedule and a power supply schedule for the equipment 1 from the management means 5. The extraction means 8 extracts power supply information from the battery 3. The processing part 6 determines the power state of the system and device 2 based on these schedules and the power supply information. The changing means 9 changes the power state of the system and device 2 to the power state determined by the processing part 6.</p> |
