PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image display device permitting to be increased in a screen size and image quality with low power consumption by eliminating an influence of parasitic capacitance produced in thin film display elements as mach as possible, and to realize a method for driving an image display device and thin film display elements, hardly influenced by noise and can display favorably with a relatively small driving signal. SOLUTION: This image display device comprises thin film display elements D1 which is driven by current by each pixel, and light generation control elements M1 for driving these thin film display element D1, and is configured so that the thin film display element D1 for each pixel is controlled to be driven by only one light generation control element M1. |
