摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the yield of correcting operation and to enable to reuse used constituent parts, when correcting a luminescent point defective pixel of a liquid crystal display device using a laser beam. SOLUTION: Polarizing plates 27 and 28 are adhered to the outsides of a liquid crystal panel 26 having a liquid crystal member 24 sealed between an array substrate 15 and a counter substrate 17 using adhesives 29 and 30. The adhesives 29 and 30 are irradiated with the laser beam and thermally treated to form altered adhered parts 50 and 51. The luminescent point defective pixel is corrected by blackening the altered adhered parts 50 and 51.
