PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device and an image forming device by which the position of an exciting coil is stabilized by covering the exciting coil with a non-magnetic body and the efficiency of heat generation is improved by reducing an interstice with a heating means. SOLUTION: In the image heating device which possesses a rotatable heating means 1 and an exciting means 8 to make the heating means 1 generate heat by electromagnetic induction and heats an image T formed on a recording material P with the heat from the heating means 1, the exciting means 8 possesses the exciting coil 8a and the non-magnetic body 8b covering the periphery of the exciting coil 8a, and the non-magnetic body 8b is arranged by having a specified interstice (d) with the heating means 1.
