PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner used in a nonmagnetic one-component reversal developing method using a positive electrification type photoreceptor and less liable to cause surface stain even after long-time use. SOLUTION: The toner for reversal development is used in a contact type nonmagnetic one-component reversal developing method in which the toner is supplied to a toner support, a thin layer of the toner is formed on the toner support with a regulating member, electric charges are imparted to the toner, the toner is brought into contact with a photoreceptor which retains an electrostatic latent image to develop the latent image and the developed image is transferred to paper. The toner is obtained by sticking fine titanium dioxide particles surface-treated with an aminosilane or trimethoxysilane to the surfaces of colored polyester resin particles. Development is carried out using the toner. |
