LOW HYDROGEN SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING ELECTRODE

PURPOSE: A shielded metal arc welding electrode is provided to increase the shock property of a welded portion and the workability at 196deg.C. CONSTITUTION: A flux is composed of: a metal carbonate of 20-35wt%; a metal fluoride of 10-20wt%; a metal oxide of 1-4wt%; and metal alloy elements. A carbonic barium of 2.5-4.5wt% is contained in the metal carbonate. A fluorite of 10-20wt%, Al2O3 of 2.0wt%, MgO of 1.0wt% and NaF of 1.0wt% are contained in the metal fluoride. Thereby, a crack in a crater portion at high temperature, red heat events according to a high electric resistance of a Ni alloy and a reduction of a welding workability are prevented.
