PURPOSE: A method for automatically managing an exchanger line is provided to accomplish a convenience in managing exchanger line and transmission path information in an exchanger in which T1 and E1 trunk are mixed, ensure stability, and shorten a development term and development manpower thanks to reduction in an application program. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a trunk is inputted(201). It is checked whether the trunk is corrected(203). If the trunk is not to be corrected, a line is inputted or deleted(204), and the trunk is deleted(205). If the trunk is to be corrected, in case that a transmitting unit is to be nullified through a general updating process(206,207), the transmission unit item is nullified from the trunk(208) and the line inputting/deleting is performed(209).
