PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telephone system which improves operability and makes the life of a battery long by optimally controlling back light turning-on time in accordance with a function selected by a user, and its controlling method. SOLUTION: A microprocessor 17 discriminates the function selected by the user operation of a key inputting part 16 and variably controls the turning-on time of the back light 152 of a display unit 15 with the back light in accordance with the discriminated function. |
