CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring abrasion of a cooling plate for the blast furnace body includes the step of obtaining a thickness(Ln) of a cooling plate through the following formula, Ln=(((T1-Tn)/(Tn-T2))((L2/K1)+(1/h2))-(1/h1))xk1, wherein T1 means the inside gas temperature of the furnace, T2 means the temperature of cooling water, Tn means thermocouple temperature inside the cooling plate, Ln means a residual thickness of the cooling plate, L2 means a distance from thermocouples(8,11,12) to the inside of the cooling plate, h1 means a coefficient of heat transfer between the inside gas of the furnace and the cooling plate, h2 means a coefficient of heat transfer of cooling water, and k1 means a heat conductivity of the cooling plate.
