PURPOSE: A semi trailing arm type suspension system improves steering stability. CONSTITUTION: A semi trailing arm type suspension system comprises a sub frame(2), a trailing arm(20), a stabilizer(30), a coil spring(32) and a shock absorber(34). Control links(8, 10) having fixed length are rotatably connected to both ends of the sub frame(2) through hinges(12, 14). Mounts(16, 18) are formed on the front side of the control links(8, 10). In this system, the sub frame(2) does not rotate even with lateral force, which means that the position of a wheel(28) does not change to be hindered from being toe-out when turning and endures sufficiently load due to front, rear and lateral force, so as to improve steering stability.
