PURPOSE: A heating device of a multi-functional microwave oven is provided to enhance the efficiency of a heater and to improve the productivity of a microwave oven by using a single heater for both convection and grill. CONSTITUTION: A heating device includes: a rotatable member(150) connected to a side plate(112) of a cavity(110) rotatably; a heater(140) mounted on the cavity through both sides coupled with the rotatable member; and an insulating plate(142) joined to one side of the heater, having plural second vent holes(144) on a contact surface with the heater. The rotatable member is connected to the lower corner of the side plate to rotate the heater to a rear plate(120) of the cavity and to the lower surface. The insulating plate is assembled to the lower face of the heater. When the hater stands to be adhered to the rear plate of the cavity, the insulating plate covers the heater. Thereby, the radiated heat of the heater is not directly transferred to the food in the cavity. The food is cooked by the hot wind flowing by a convection fan(130). If the heater is laid down and attached on the lower face of the cavity, the insulating plate prevents the heat of the heater from being directly transferred to the bottom.
