PURPOSE: A safety gas valve is provided to normally supply gas at a shock of a small amount, and to re-supply gas after eliminating gas blocking elements regardless of no power supply. CONSTITUTION: In case of the leakage of gas from an outlet gas pipe(2), the pressure of the outlet gas pipe is rapidly reduced. Thus, a weight(40) is elevated to insert an upper plugging part into a gas outlet. An O-ring(45) blocks an inlet of the gas outlet to cut off gas supply to the outlet gas pipe. In case of forming an operation rod(74) on the upper part of the weight, the operation rod is inserted into a releasing valve(80). After replacing a gas pipe, an electromagnet(65) is operated to pull the weight downward, then gas is normally supplied. In case of power failure, a handle of the releasing valve is rotated to rotate a cam. The front end of the cam pushes the operation rod for lowering the operation rod. Thus, the weight is lowered for supplying gas.
