摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing reduction iron from hot rolling oil sludge is provided for reusing waste of iron mills to protect surrounding environment and to increase production capacity by utilizing hot rolling oil sludge, cokes dust and furnace slag as waste materials. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing reduction iron efficiently utilizing waste of steel industry to save production cost and reuse waste of the environmentally friend iron mills comprises a first step to dry oil containing sludge generated from hot rolling mills; a second step to form (or mold) a desired shape of product by combining the dried oil sludge and cokes dust in a weight ratio of 9-24; blending 94-98 wt.% of the combined material and 2-6 wt.% of furnace slag and adding to it with a binder; a third step to cool the product after carrying out reduction of the formed product under nitrogen atmosphere at more than 1050 deg.C.</p>
