PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic instrument by which an ID is inputted during power saving and the power saving is released. SOLUTION: This instrument is provided with a measurement optical system 21 and an arithmetic device 30 for obtaining the refraction degree of an eye to be examined, a monitor TV for displaying measurement data obtained by the system 21 and the device 30 and another kind of information and a controller 33 for saving the power of the system 21, the device 30 and the TV, etc. The controller 33 receives the input of an ID code from a barcode reader 24 and releases power saving when the ID code is inputted.
