PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition having a high foaming property and low irritating property. SOLUTION: This detergent composition contains a mixture of a phosphoric acid monoester expressed by general formula (I) [wherein R is a 9-15C alkyl or alkenyl having >=10% branching ratio; X1, X2 and X3 are each H or an alkali metal; and (n) is 0-5 showing a mean added molar number of ethylene oxide] and a phosphoric acid diester of general formula (II) in weight ratio of (I)/(II) of (80/20)-(60/40).
