PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic booster for brake having first and second secondary master cylinders capable of outputting a brake hydraulic pressure simultaneously even if a variation in sliding resistance is present between front and rear proportional booster valves. SOLUTION: This hydraulic booster for brake comprises a front proportional booster valve Vf outputting a boosted hydraulic pressure according to an output hydraulic pressure at a front output port 1f of a primary master cylinder M1, a rear proportional booster valve Vr outputting a boosted hydraulic pressure according to an output hydraulic pressure at a rear output port 1r of the primary master cylinder M1, a front secondary master cylinder M2f operated by a boosted hydraulic pressure output by the front proportional booster valve Vf to operate front wheel brakes Bfa and Bfb, and a rear secondary master cylinder M2r operated by a boosted hydraulic pressure output by the rear proportional booster valve Vr to operate the rear brakes Bra and Brb. Then, a hydraulic equalizer E equalizing the hydraulic pressures in both output hydraulic chambers 54 and 54 with each other is disposed between the output hydraulic chambers 54 and 54 of the front and rear secondary master cylinders M1f and M2r. |
