PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon nitride-based sintered product which contains Si particles having a characteristic structure and a characteristic dispersion form, can be produced by a low cost simple method, and has improved heat resistance, abrasion resistance or sliding characteristics. SOLUTION: This silicon nitride-based sintered product having improved heat resistance, abrasion resistance or sliding characteristics is realized by dispersing Si particles having a metal-like appearance and/or a single crystal-like appearance having an average particle size of 0.1 to 10 μm observed in the cross-sectional texture in the whole or partial portion of the sintered product. |
