Lubricating Oil Compns. suitable for High Mechanical and Thermal Stresses. Composns. consist of mixtures of synthetic ester based oil, polyisobutene and mineral oil, pref. in proportions of 30 to 70%, 5 to 20% and 65 to 10% by wt. respectively. The ester is pref. dioctyl or didecyl adipate, -azelate or -phthalate or pentaerythritol tetrahepanoate and the the polyisobutene pref. has m.w. 1000-4000. The mineral oil is pref. a refined oil with viscosity of 20 to 130 (pref. 25 to 45) cSt. at 37.8 degrees C. Composns. are oxidation, carbonisation and cold resistant. |
