CHARACTER INPUT DEVICE FOR COMBINING BASIC SENTENCE PATTERNS AND INPUTTING HANGUL AND ENGLISH

PURPOSE: A character input device for combining basic sentence patterns and inputting Hangul and English is provided to offer a character input unit to input the consonants and vowels of Hangul, the alphabet and numerals. CONSTITUTION: A character input device using basic sentence patterns is composed of a basic sentence pattern input part(40), a character recognition part(41) and a character output part(42). The basic sentence pattern input part(40) inputs basic sentence patterns extracted from the configurations of basic characters. The character recognition part(41) combines the inputted basic sentence patterns and recognizes them using the basic characters. The character output part(42) outputs the recognized characters. The basic sentence pattern input part(40) is composed of sub input parts. One basic sentence pattern is allocated to each sub input part. If basic sentence patterns are sequentially inputted by the basic sentence pattern input part(40), the inputted basic sentence patterns are combined and recognized as the basic characters.
