PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a listening detection system that collects listening histories denoting actual listening results of listeners. SOLUTION: A radio receiver 100 acquires an audio signal with a reference code added thereto by an audio signal input means 110, and an audio signal reproduction means 120 reproduces the audio signal. The reference code is outputted to a reference code collation means 130. An audio detection reference code to detect in advance listening is given to the reference code collation means 130 via a reference code acquisition means 160. The reference code collation means 130 collates the reference code of a reproduced audio signal with the detection reference code and when they are coincident, a listening history recorded in a listening history storage means 140 is updated. A listening history transmission means 150 transmits the listening history as required. A collection device 200 acquires the listening history by a listening history acquisition means 210, a collection data control means 220 collects the data to generate collected data and stores and manages them. Furthermore, a reference code transmission means 230 transmits as required the detection reference code to the radio receiver 100.
