PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting method for realizing the correction of detection data in an optical detecting means such as a camera, without influencing a mechanical errors, accompanied with a mechanical operation and a position detecting device for realizing the correcting method and an electronic part mounting device having the position detecting device. SOLUTION: A reference unit 165, equipped with an optical reference board 1651 on which reference marks are arrayed, is carried out above image pickup units 163 and 164, and the optical reference board 1651 is photographed by each camera of the image pickup units 163 and 164, and a reference parameter related to position information is updated from the detection data of the reference marks and the position information on the reference marks for each camera. |
