PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canned motor, having high rotation accuracy of a rotational shaft and a long bearing lifetime. SOLUTION: An outer frame 12 of a vacuum pump 11 is mounted directly in an outer frame 1 of a canned motor 1, and the heat from the pump 11 is transferred to an outer race 8b of a load side bearing 8 via the frame 12 of the motor 1. The member of the opposite load side of a rotary shaft 10 is formed of a heat insulator 10a of a stainless steel, and heats from an armature coil 5 and a rotor 7 are interrupted by the insulator 10a. The heat is made to scarcely transfer to the race 9a of the opposite load side bearing 9. Thus, the temperature differences between the inner races 8a, 9a and the outer races 8b, 9b of the load side and the opposite load side bearings 8, 9 are reduced.
