<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing the propagation of the vibration of a percussion/string musical instrument in which propagation of the vibration of the instrument to a floor is prevented at a low cost while the delay in control is made minimum. SOLUTION: Signals having inverse phase waveforms of the vibration waveforms of each generated sound of a piano are stored in a semiconductor memory 34. Whenever a key of a keyboard 30 is depressed, the signals having inverse phase waveforms with respect to the generated sound are read, amplified to a prescribed level and supplied to a vibration adding device 33 so that the vibration generated by the piano is canceled.</p> |
